This structure, proposed by the Akono Musical Academy organised by the association Amis du Choeur Madrigal du Cameroon, welcomes children and teenagers from 8 to 16 years old with or without experience in choral singing. 

The participants in the Junior Space have access to the evenings of the common song and the big concert.

Depending on their age, they can participate in two types of activities: the Junior Workshop for 12 - 16 year olds and the Children's Discovery Workshop for 8 - 11 year olds.

Journey around the world to discover different rhythms and movements, always supported by vocal work that will allow them to sing in all languages with ease.

Astrid Cottet

Astryd Cottet holds a singing prize and a Certificate of Aptitude in singing (Hochschule Leipzig), an Akademische Expertin in children's choir conducting (Mozarteum Salzburg). In China, she was the conductor of the "Friends of the Little Singers of Vienna". Back in France, she was the conductor of the EVE project at the Philharmonie de Paris. She now conducts the choir of the Maîtrise de Fontainebleau and teaches voice pedagogy for children and teenagers at the CNSM in Lyon to students of the choir conducting class. She gives numerous workshops and conferences on this subject for various institutions

François Terrieux

François Terrieux has been promoting choral singing in Toulouse and in the region for over 25 years thanks to original, ambitious and high quality programmes. He has developed his children's and youth choir project around three pillars: Creating, Meeting and Passing on. His musical studies at the Conservatoire and the University were extended at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon where he obtained the Diplôme National d'Etudes Supérieures de Musique. During his studies, he obtained the Certificate of Aptitude for conducting vocal ensembles. He has been working with the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse for 22 years on programmes for the young audience and symphony seasons, as well as on musical creations.
